Regional people say that instead of negligence, considering it a serious lapse in the security system, there should be a fair investigation into the entire matter.

According to police sources, female soldier Vimlesh Pal died due to injury to something heavy on the head. Severe bruises have also been found in the back of the head. A scooty has been recovered from the scene of the incident, which is registered in the name of soldier Indresh Maurya.
Prima facie Indresh’s role in mobile phone call details and forensic investigation is suspicious. He was previously posted in Barabanki. According to the SP, in 2024, Vimlesh Pal filed a case of rape on Indresh. Later, both of them reconciled by giving an affidavit in the court. In the court, both of them had spoken and stayed together.
For a few days, there was a rift between the two again. Vimlesh Pal’s father Rambharat Pal was a follower in the police department. After his death, the third daughter Vimlesh was admitted to the police in 2017. She lived in a rented room near Subhaha police station in Barabanki. Sister Pooja Pal told that on July 27, Vimlesh called and told that Indresh would kill her. It is alleged that Indresh, along with his brother, killed Vimlesh.
After the investigation of the scene, the soldier Indresh Maurya posted in Hardoi seems to be involved. All points are being investigated. Instructions have been given to disclose soon.
