Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath introduced the ‘developed UP 2047’ vision. By 2047, every household in the state is aimed at medical insurance, digital classrooms, new AIIMS, pharma and medical device park and the goal of UP through improvement in education-health.

Yogi adityanath vision 2047: When a state stands on strong pillars of education and health, only then its economy touches new heights. With this thinking, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has presented the vision of ‘developed UP 2047’. The focal point of this vision is- educated childhood and healthy family, so that Uttar Pradesh not only becomes a $ 6 trillion economy in the coming 22 years, but every citizen’s life is guaranteed quality education and better health facilities.

New direction of health services: Medical insurance up to every household

CM Yogi clarified that by 2047, medical insurance coverage will be made available to every house in the state. The target is to cover 50% by 2030 and 100% families by 2047. 2 new AIIMS, 3 pharma parks and 2 medical devices will be set up in the state. Bringing maternal and infant mortality to SDG target and increasing health workforce to 40 per thousand are the main goals. By promoting medical tourism and healthcare research, there is a plan to give UP a new identity globally.

Digital Revolution in Education: UP will become the new center of knowledge and skills

The target is to make UP a global workforce center by 2047. For this, digital classrooms, e-learning and Edtech will be implemented in schools. FLN (Foundational Literacy & Numeracy) will be strengthened and there will be special emphasis on training and research-innovation of teachers. Dual education and skilling systems will be implemented to prepare the youth according to the needs of Industry 4.0.

Challenges before 2017 and change now

Before 2017, the condition of both education and health in UP was very worrying. Lack of basic facilities in schools, shortage of teachers and increasing dropout rate were a major problem. There were neither adequate hospitals nor doctors in health services. But in the last 8 years, education improved with efforts like School Chalo Abhiyan, Sharda Program and Operation Rejuvenation. At the same time, schemes like new medical college, Jan Aushadhi Kendra and Ayushman Bharat in the health sector gave relief to the common man.

The path of 6 trillion $ 6th by 2047

Under Vision 2047, UP’s GSDP has been targeted to be taken up to $ 6 trillion. The roadmap of $ 353 billion by 2025, $ 1 trillion by 2030, $ 2 trillion by 2036 and $ 6 trillion by 2047 are ready. For this, there is a plan to maintain a 16% average growth rate for the coming years. According to the vision, by 2047, the state’s per capita income will be Rs 26 lakh and UP’s share in India’s GDP will be 20%.
