Vikrant Massey recently discussed his choice to withdraw from social media. The actor contemplated the emotional motivations for his hiatus, highlighting the significance of personal growth and cherishing time with his family, particularly after missing several important moments in his baby boy Vardaan’s early life due to professional obligations.
Vikrant Massey on taking a break from social media
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Vikrant spoke openly, stating, “If I feel like taking a break to improve myself, then I will take a break. The idea was to better myself and, of course, spend time with my family. I’ve been fortunate-these last few years have been incredible, but I was away from my family. I had a baby boy, and all I had were videos of him. I didn’t witness his first tooth coming in. He said ‘papa’ for the first time while I was away. My first memory of him saying ‘papa’ is through a video that I’ve saved in a folder. It’s heartbreaking.”
He continued, “If tomorrow I feel like taking another break-whether it’s tomorrow, months, or years from now-I’ll return to the drawing board to enhance my skills as an actor. Because of the blessings and privilege I have, I owe it to myself to keep evolving, even if that means stepping away again.”
