Vikata Sankashti Chaturthi 2026: Chaturthi date of Krishna Paksha of every month is considered very special. On this day, Sankashti Chaturthi fast dedicated to Lord Ganesha is observed. Sankashti Chaturthi falling in the Krishna Paksha of Vaishakh month is called Vikat Sankashti Chaturthi. Special worship and fasting of Lord Ganesha is done on this day. Offer these things to Lord Ganesha
During the puja, offer ‘Durva’ (green grass) and red vermillion to Bappa. Red or yellow colored clothes and sacred thread can also be offered during the puja. Offer 21 Durvas in puja. Offering coconut, turmeric lump and betel nut during puja is also auspicious. Bappa likes sweets very much. In such a situation, offer them their favorite foods like modak, gram flour laddus and sweet puran poli.
