Vijay-Sangeeta divorce: Actor and TVK chief Vijay’s wife, Sangeeta Sornalingam, has filed a petition seeking divorce after more than 25 years of marriage. The couple, who married in 1999 and have two children, are now facing legal proceedings before the District Court. According to the petition filed under the Special Marriage Act, 1954, Sangeeta has cited allegations of adultery and cruelty as grounds for separation.
The filing reportedly claims she became aware of an alleged extramarital relationship in 2021. The matter is currently sub judice, and no official response from Vijay has been made public so far.
