Actor Vijay Deverakonda and actress Rashmika Mandanna shared a playful exchange on social media after Vijay credited his wife for a candid photograph from a relaxed afternoon at home.
Vijay took to social media on Wednesday night to share a picture of himself resting between his parents, Govardhan Rao and Madhavi Deverakonda. The actor appeared to be enjoying a peaceful afternoon nap at home.
Sharing the picture, Vijay wrote, “Rains Canceled shoots – You get an afternoon nap in your favourite spot as a kid,” adding, “Recovery – 1000%.” He also credited Rashmika for taking the photograph.
Rashmika responded with a teasing comment, asking whether Vijay had credited her simply to avoid seeing her “puppy eyes” at home.
“Did you give me the credit just because you didn’t want to see my puppy eyes back home?” she wrote.
She then jokingly asked Vijay to credit her for the other photographs she had taken over the years as well.
“Also now while we are at it.. can you give me credit for all the other photos that I’ve taken over the years also?” she added.
Continuing the banter, Rashmika wrote, “I should show my loves how amazing my photography skills really are noool!! just saying!”
Vijay and Rashmika, who have worked together in films including ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’, tied the knot on February 26, 2026, in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur. Their relationship had remained a subject of public interest for several years before they got engaged in October 2025.
On the work front, Rashmika was last seen in ‘Cocktail 2’, starring alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. She is also part of Allu Arjun and director Atlee’s upcoming film ‘Raaka’.
The actress will reunite with Vijay on screen in ‘Ranabaali’, marking their first film together after marriage.
