Vijay Deverakonda auctioned 1st Filmfare Award: ‘Nicer memory than piece of stone’

Vijay Deverakonda, in a recent interview, revealed that he had auctioned the first Filmfare Award he received for his performance. He also added that he donated the money, and it was a ‘nicer memory’ for him.

He also shared that he gave away an award to Sandeep Reddy Vanga because he is not into ‘certificates and awards’.

In an interview with Galatta Plus, the actor, who will next be seen in ‘Family Star’, said, “I am not so much into certificates and awards. Some might be at the office, some my mom has kept somewhere. Some awards I gave away. One award I gave away to Sandeep Reddy Vanga.”

 

 

 

 

He also added, “We auctioned the first Filmfare Best Actor award that I got. We auctioned it and got a good chunk of money that we gave away. I think that’s a nicer memory for me than a piece of stone in my house.”
