New Delhi: ViewSonic India has launched three new projectors to bring about a change in the entertainment and productivity experience at home, in the office, and in the classroom. The new range also brings the new X1-4K Pro and X2-4K Pro models of the flagship X Series and the brand new SP7 projector. This launch is one step forward towards the vision of ViewSonic providing immersive, smart, and purposeful visual solutions to any environment.
Whereas X1/X2-4K Pro models are positioned with the focus on high-end home entertainment and gaming, SP7 is designed to be used in a professional and educational environment. X Series projectors bring smart 4K gaming to life
The X1-4K Pro and X2-4K Pro are Xbox-licensed projectors, which are native 4K HDR, 1440p at 120Hz and include an ultra-low 4.2 ms input lag. The models provide interactive gameplay and cinema pictures on screens with the size of more than 100 inches. The two projectors have already acquired built-in Google TV and an in-house Netflix app to give customers access to leading streaming services without the use of additional equipment.
They come with high-quality Harman Kardon speakers, HDMI eARC, USB-C, Bluetooth audio, and 5GHz wireless screen casting. The projectors use a 0.65-inch DMD chip produced by Texas Instruments and an ams OSRAM LED light engine, giving a brightness of 3,300 LED lumens and a colour coverage of 125 per cent Rec. 709. They also give environmentally friendly entertainment, as they have a mercury-free lamp that can run up to 60,000 hours.
SP7: A smart fit for classrooms and offices
The new SP7 projector was developed with the purpose of learning and working and has 4,800 ANSI lumens and a 22,000:1 contrast ratio. It provides rich, graphic images in highlight areas. The SP7 has rich colour accuracy and supports a variety of presentation modes driven by SuperColor technology. It is perfect for the teachers and workers who require a readable and stable projection during the day.
The SP7 focuses on efficiency and low maintenance, with its Eco and SuperEco modes lasting up to 15,000 hours. It has such features as Auto Power Off, vertical keystone correction, Instant Activation and compatibility with 3D HDMI sources. Session control and interaction with the audience are supported with user-friendly tools such as the built-in presentation timer and blank timer.
Flexible setup and eye comfort across models
The X1-4K Pro also features a vertical lens shift, 1.3x zoom and 4-corner keystone correction which make it easy to mount. The short-throw X2-4K Pro delivers a 100-inch image at only 1.5 metres and is suitable in smaller rooms. The two models minimise eye fatigue by emitting a low amount of blue light certified by TUV and projecting reflective light.
The SP7 can also be mounted and adjusted in keystone in a variety of arrangements in a classroom or a meeting room. It is easy to integrate into shared spaces, as it has smart energy-saving modes and user-based controls.
