India has won the Women’s World Cup 2025. India won the World Cup trophy for the first time by defeating South Africa in the title battle. After this victory, Team India launched its song which it had composed four years ago. During this period, India lost 3 World Cups but now in 2025, it has got a chance to sing this victory song. BCCI has shared this song on social media, the lyrics of which are really amazing. Jemimah Rodrigues told that the team had decided that the team’s song would be released only when they win their first World Cup title.

India performed brilliantly in the final match in Navi Mumbai to become world champion. Team India lost the toss but its batsmen put pressure on South Africa by batting brilliantly. Mandhana contributed 45 runs. Shefali Verma scored 87 runs. All-rounder Deepti Sharma played an inning of 58 runs in the middle order. Richa Ghosh played an inning of 34 runs. South African team disintegrates under pressure
Chasing the target of 299 runs, the South African team was all out for 246 runs. Captain Laura Woolworth played an inning of 101 runs but apart from her, no other batsman could support her. Derksen definitely contributed 35 runs but Deepti Sharma’s 5 wickets and Shefali’s 2 wickets forced South Africa to kneel.
