Vibrant Gujarat, Vibrant Banaskantha signed MoUs worth 283 crores during the program. The Minister of Industry and the Speaker of the Assembly emphasized new opportunities for local industry, startups, skill development and employment.

Gandhinagar. Vibrant Gujarat has now become a model for other states of the country to attract investment in Gujarat and create strategic partnership. In this series this year, the government is organizing Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferencing. Under this, ‘Vibrant Gujarat, Vibrant Banasakantha’ district level program was held in the presence of Assembly Speaker Shri Shankarbhai Chaudhary and Industry Minister Shri Balwant Singh Rajput in Banasakantha district on Friday.

MOU and Exhibition worth Rs 283 crore

In this event, 6 MoUs worth about Rs 283 crore were done from the stage. The biggest compromise in this was Rs 210 crore between Roads and Building Department-Banasakantha and SPG Infrakon Private Limited.

11 help desks were installed by various departments of the government. Apart from this, 36 stalls were also set up for the exhibition of manufacturing products of industrial units. Assembly Speaker and other guests inaugurated these stalls and inspected. Also, a film dedicated to the industry was shown and the benefits of various schemes were distributed to the beneficiaries.

New direction to industries under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership

Addressing the program, Assembly Speaker Shri Shankarbhai Chaudhary said that India is topping the global place under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The government has implemented many simple policies to increase import-export and encourage industries.

He said that campaigns like Make in India and Made in India are motivating citizens towards industries. People should use indigenous products and contribute to the development of the country.

Banaskantha: Hub of Business and Employment

Mr. Chaudhary said that India provides huge markets and Banasakantha is a leader in many regions. Marble, Agro and Dairy industries are moving rapidly in the district. He emphasized the value edition of the product and said that today branding and sales through the AI ​​and virtual world have become easier.

Giving the example of Banas Dairy, he said that Dairy started many new startups and has created a network of 23 thousand crores in the last 10 years. The district has about 28.50 lakh animals and Banas Dairy has also made about 5 CNG pumps based on biogas from cow dung. This is making additional income to the cattle rearers and has also encouraged environmental protection.

Mr. Chaudhary said that quality, new discovery and technological innovation are necessary in any industry. He also announced that in the coming time, the largest breeding center in the country will be set up in Banaskantha.

Vibrant Gujarat success in Gujarat

In the program, Industries Minister Shri Balwant Singh Rajput said that the Vibrant Gujarat, which started from the year 2003 under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has played an important role in bringing the state into the front line of development.

He said that today, 100 of the top 500 companies in the world are working in Gujarat, which has given major employment opportunities to the local people.

Rajput said that the state’s per capita income has now increased from Rs 18,753 to Rs 2.73 lakh. Gujarat’s GDP is growing at a rate of 8.4%.

Skill development and small industries promote

Shri Rajput said that India was called a gold bird in the past and now the goal is to make it a leader globally. India has become the fourth largest economy in the world today due to simple industry policies. He informed that the first Skill University has been started in Gujarat for skill development of youth. The state government is also encouraging small industries through various schemes.

On this occasion, Mr. Mamta Verma, Principal Secretary, Department of Industries and Mines of the State Government, informed about the available industry opportunities in Banasakantha district and the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat. The entrepreneurs of the district also shared their views.

In the next phase in Gujarat, Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferaces will be held in four areas. It will have a North Gujarat Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference on 9 and 10 October 2025 in Mehsana. It will give MSE Awards in five categories.
