New Delhi: VerSe Innovation, India’s leading local language technology and AI-driven platform, closed FY25 with strong financial and operational momentum. The company reported an 88 per cent surge in revenue from operations, rising from Rs 1,029 crore in FY24 to Rs 1,930 crore in FY25. Total revenue increased 64 per cent year-on-year to Rs 2,071 crore. Even without acquisitions, revenue climbed 33 per cent to Rs 1,373 crore.
The company also cut its EBITDA burn by 20 per cent, reducing it from Rs 920 crore in FY24 to Rs 738 crore in FY25, while margins improved from –89 per cent to –38 per cent. Cost efficiency measures contributed significantly, with cost of services dropping from 112 per cent to 77 per cent of operational revenue and other operating expenses improving from 77 per cent to 61 per cent.
VerSe aims to achieve breakeven in the second half of FY26, supported by AI-led monetisation through its NexVerse.ai AdTech engine, subscription growth via Dailyhunt Premium, enhanced community engagement with Josh Audio Calling and VerSe Collab, and synergies from strategic acquisitions like Magzter and ValueLeaf.
With a strong capital position and continued focus on AI-driven innovation, the company says it is positioned to lead India’s next phase of digital growth, driving value through local-language content, commerce and creator-led communities.
