One of the most exciting combinations in Telugu cinema is officially on the floors. Victory Venkatesh, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, and blockbuster director Anil Ravipudi have joined hands for a massive festive entertainer aimed at Sankranthi 2027. Tentatively referred to as #VenkyAnil5 and #NKRAR2, the film is being produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner and presented by Suresh Productions, Smt. Archana, and Zee Studios.
The project was formally launched with a grand muhurtham ceremony and pooja event attended by the film’s cast, crew, and several prominent personalities from the industry.
Producers Dil Raju and Shirish initiated the proceedings by handing over the script to director Anil Ravipudi and producer Sahu Garapati. Adding to the grandeur of the event, veteran producer Allu Aravind sounded the clapboard for the inaugural shot featuring Venkatesh, Kalyan Ram, Keerthy Suresh, and Krithi Shetty. Suresh Babu switched on the camera, while legendary filmmaker K. Raghavendra Rao directed the first shot.
The film stars Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty as the female leads and is expected to be a quintessential Anil Ravipudi entertainer packed with humor, family emotions, and festive entertainment. The unique combination of Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram has already sparked tremendous curiosity among fans and trade circles alike.
Even before the commencement of regular shooting, the project has generated strong buzz thanks to Anil Ravipudi’s consistent blockbuster success, the powerful star cast, and the involvement of some of Telugu cinema’s biggest production houses.
The film also features a highly accomplished technical team. GV Prakash Kumar will compose the music, Sameer Reddy will handle cinematography, Tammiraju is in charge of editing, and AS Prakash will oversee the art department. S. Krishna is serving as the executive producer.
With shooting set to begin soon, expectations are already soaring for what promises to be one of the biggest and most entertaining releases of Sankranthi 2027.
