Zee TV’s popular show Vasudha has completed 700 episodes, with actors Priya Thakur and Abhishek Sharrma reflecting on their journey with the series and the affection they have received from viewers.
Thakur, who plays the titular character Vasudha, described the milestone as surreal and recalled auditioning for the show without knowing where the opportunity would lead.
“700 episodes of Vasudha feel surreal! I still remember going for my audition thinking, ‘Chalo, audition deke dekhte hain… kya hi ho jayega!’ And today, that one decision has given me 700 episodes, countless memories, and so much love,” she said.
Thakur said the show’s reported sustained No. 1 position in the prime-time space had made the achievement even more special. She added that she was grateful to have found the character of Vasudha and grown with her through the journey.
With the show set to bring new twists, Thakur said she was looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds and sharing the next chapters with the audience.
Abhishek Sharrma, who portrays Devansh Singh Chauhan, said some characters become an enduring part of an actor’s identity, describing Devansh as one such role for him.
“Completing 700 episodes is a huge milestone, and I feel fortunate to have experienced this journey with such a wonderful team and audience,” he said.
Sharrma also credited the audience’s continued affection for Vasudha and Devansh for making the journey special. He teased upcoming moments for fans of the on-screen pairing, saying something “beautiful” was in store.
