Lucknow Varun Vihar Housing Scheme: Lucknow Development Authority will develop more than 15 thousand residential and commercial plots, 300 acres of logistic park and ISBT under Varun Vihar Yojana. More than 3 lakh people will get housing and employment from the scheme.

The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has prepared a new blueprint for the development of the city under the Varun Vihar scheme. In this scheme, not only more than 15 thousand residential and commercial plots will be provided, but along with this a huge logistic park and transport city will also be developed in 300 acres.

Varun Vihar scheme will spread over 5,610 acres

This ambitious scheme will be directly connected to the Agra Expressway and Kisan Path. The land of many villages of Sadar and Sarojninagar tehsils has been identified for this scheme to be developed on 5,610 acres of area. This includes villages like Bhaliya, Adampur Indwara, Bahru, Jaliamau, Madarpur, Ibrahimganj, Nakataura, Gehlwara, Tejkrishna Kheda, Rewari, Sakra and Dona. This scheme will provide residential facilities to more than 3 lakh people, as well as new opportunities in the industry, health, education and logistic sector.

Green belt and golf course will increase beauty

LDA Vice President Prathamesh Kumar informed that more than 15 thousand residential, commercial and group housing plots will be prepared under the scheme. Along with this, green belts, parks and water bodies will be developed in about 800 acres of area. The plan will also have an international golf course and Central Park, which will make it the capital’s attraction.

ISBT and 25 sector will be made

A total of 25 sectors will be built under the Varun Vihar scheme, which will have grid road, underground cable lines and other modern facilities as per international standards. ISBT (Inter State Bus Terminal) is also proposed to further improve traffic.

Land being purchased on consent from farmers

LDA is purchasing consent -based land from farmers to put this scheme on the ground. Officials believe that the implementation of this scheme will not only reduce residential crisis, but will also reveal new employment and investment opportunities.
