On Dussehra, two films from Bollywood-South, Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari and Kantara Chapter 1, were released. Both the films were liked by the audience, but gradually Varun Dhawan’s film got blown away by the storm of Kantara Chapter 1 and it is struggling to earn money.
It has been 14 days since the release of director Shashank Khaitan and producer Karan Johar’s film Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari. Now the film is finding it difficult to survive at the box office. The earning figures of the movie are continuously falling down. Meanwhile, its 14th day’s collection figures have come out and it has been able to earn only Rs 1 crore. Let us tell you that this film is facing tough competition at the box office from South actor Rishabh Shetty’s film Kantara Chapter 1, which is earning handsomely.

On October 2, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s film Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari was released. The film opened its account with Rs 9.25 crore on the first day. On the second day it collected Rs 5.5 crore. Its collection on the third day was 7.5 crores. It earned Rs 7.75 crore on the fourth day. The movie had done a business of Rs 3.25 crore on the first Monday. It had earned Rs 41.1 crore till the first weekend. After this, there was a sharp decline in its earnings. On the second Monday i.e. 12th day, it did a business of Rs 1.25 crore. Its collection on 13th day was 1.5 crores. It earned Rs 1 crore on the 14th day. The movie has made a net business of Rs 54.10 crore at the Indian box office. The film has earned Rs 80.30 crore worldwide. The film will still have to work hard to enter the Rs 100 crore club. Let us tell you that this film has not yet been included in the list of Varun’s top 10 net collection films in India. However, this has become the third most profitable film of Jhanvi Kapoor. At the same time, the film Kantara Chapter 1 has so far earned Rs 475.90 crore in India.
