Varun on fan calling SSKTK pathetic
A fan wrote, “Bhai, aren`t u serious abt ur comeback? Stop doing pathetic movies like SSKTK in the name of versatility.” To this, Varun replied, “Chalo, film phir bhi chal gaye thodi. Aap theatre jata rehna. Mein Border 2 might surprise u since ur taste is amazing.”
A fan remembered his dialogue from Kalank on failure and mentioned, “Yesterday, I watched Kalank. I had wanted to watch the movie for a long time, and there’s one dialogue I really liked-‘Jab kisi aur ki barbaadi apni jeet lagne lage, toh samajh lena… tum bhi barbaad ho chuke ho.'” He replied, “Bahut saahi baat hain yeh aur kuch log hota hain aise. All one can do is keep ur head down and work. Never laugh at someone’s failure.”

In Border 2, Varun Dhawan is all set to play the role of an Indian Army officer inspired by the real-life hero, PVC Colonel Hoshiar Singh Dahiya. Talking about his intense prep for the film, he revealed to a fan, “I in fact injured my tailbone while shooting the Battle of Basantar. I shot for 40 days in Babina for that, with real soldiers.”
He called Ahan and his good friends and praised Sunny Deol. Sharing what he learnt from him, he said, “Ignore the noise and connect with the audience.”
