Raids and arrests are going on in various districts of Uttar Pradesh including Varanasi. Cough syrup kiping Shubham Jaiswal is absconding. Cough syrup worth Rs 2 crore recovered from the warehouse below the gym in Rohaniya area. Whose owner is said to be Mahesh Kumar Singh, close to Shubham Jaiswal. Shubham Jaiswal is absconding due to the police raid. Police has announced a reward of ₹25-25 thousand on both of them.

Varanasi Commissionerate Police has announced the names of 25000 people against Shubham Jaiswal, the kingpin of the illegal work of cough syrup containing codeine and Shelly Traders. Varanasi Police’s SIT, UPSTF and Anti Narcotics team are conducting raids for the arrest of Shubham, a resident of Prahladghat, Adampur police station area, who is involved in illegal cough syrup business. Apart from this, recently illegal cough syrup worth more than Rs 2 crore was recovered from a house in Rohania police station area. The name of its landlord Mahesh Kumar Singh Puri Rs 25000 has been declared.
Case registered against the accused in 5 districts of UP
DCP Kashi Zone Gaurav Vanshwal said that FIR has been registered against Shubham in Varanasi, Sonbhadra, Jaunpur, Chandauli apart from Ghaziabad. On the question of discussion about making Shubham a base in Dubai, Kolkata, Delhi, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, he said that it is being investigated.

A primary case has been registered against 38 farmers, including Bhola Prasad and Shubham Jaiswal, proprietors of Shaili Traders in Ranchi, Jharkhand, at the Kotwali police station on charges including NDPS fraud and other charges. Shubham’s partners Jaunpur resident Amit Singh Tata and Alok Pratap Singh have already been arrested by UP STF. The Commissionerate’s SIT has interrogated six managers and chartered accountants of private banks as part of the investigation. Long inquiries have also been made to the banks monitoring Shubham’s bank accounts. Details of various forms of other accused and bank transactions related to them have been taken. At the end of the investigation, action may also be taken against some bank officials.
