A heart-wrenching case of mass suicide of husband and wife has come to light in Chaubepur police station area of Varanasi. A 6 year old daughter returned from school and saw her parents hanging. Police is investigating from every aspect, post mortem report is awaited.
Home, which is considered the safest place for children, the world of an innocent girl was destroyed in an instant. This case which came to light from Chaubepur police station area of Varanasi is shocking everyone, where a couple allegedly committed mass suicide. This painful incident came to light when the six-year-old daughter returned from school and saw her parents hanging.
Daughter returned from school, horrifying scene came to light
The incident took place in Rampur village of Chaubepur police station area. Sunny Deval Rajbhar (26) and his wife Chandni Rajbhar (22), who lived here, committed suicide by hanging themselves from the fan with the help of a saree inside the house. The couple have two daughters. Elder daughter Aditi is about six years old, while younger daughter Kajal is three years old.
It was told that when Aditi returned home from school, she saw that the door of the house was open. As soon as he went inside and looked up, his senses were blown away. The parents were hanging from the fan. The girl got scared and came out and started screaming loudly.

People gathered after hearing the noise, declared dead in hospital
Hearing the screams of the girl, nearby people and family members reached the spot. Quickly, the cousin cut the noose with a knife and brought both of them down. A doctor was called from a nearby hospital, but after examination, the doctors declared both husband and wife dead. After this there was chaos in the entire family.
Police engaged in investigation, investigation from every angle
As soon as information about the incident was received, Chaubepur police reached the spot. The police took both the bodies into their custody and sent them for post-mortem and started investigation. According to Chaubepur in-charge Inspector Ajit Kumar Verma, prima facie it seems to be a case of suicide by hanging, but in view of the circumstances like finding the door of the house open, investigation is being done on all aspects. The situation will be completely clear only after the post mortem report comes.
There is no debt or dispute, then why did you take this step?
Shivkumar Rajbhar, father of deceased Sunny Deval, told that his son used to run a fast food shop of chaat-phulki. There was no debt or dispute of any kind in the family. He said that the circumstances under which the son and daughter-in-law took this step are beyond comprehension.
A mountain of sorrow fell on innocent daughters
There is mourning in the family after this incident. Sunny Deval’s mother Teeja Devi is in bad condition and crying. At the same time, six-year-old Aditi and three-year-old Kajal are in shock of losing their parents suddenly. There is mourning and silence in the entire village regarding this incident.
