Vande Mataram 150 Years: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch a year-long program to mark 150 years of the national song Vande Mataram at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Delhi on Friday. On this special occasion, the Prime Minister will also release a commemorative postage stamp and a special coin. The event marks the formal beginning of a year-long nationwide celebration from 7 November 2025 to 7 November 2026. The festival is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the year-long celebrations to commemorate 150 years of Vande Mataram at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi at around 9:30 am on Friday. This information has been given in the statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office. During the program, there will be mass singing of the full version of Vande Mataram at 9:50 am across the country. People from all sections of the society will participate in it. Let us tell you that this year the composition of Vande Mataram is completing 150 years. This song was written by Bankimchandra Chatterjee on 7 November 1875 on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Navami.

While sharing a post on Instagram, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote that November 7 is going to be a historic day for the country. On this day the countrymen will celebrate 150 years of Vande Mataram song. He said that this song has been inspiring many generations of the country with the feeling of patriotism and unity. PM Modi told that he is going to be in Delhi at around 9:30 in the morning. A commemorative postage stamp and coin will be released in this program.
