For example, the fare of the AC chair car from New Delhi to Varanasi is around Rs 1760, while the executive class ticket goes up to Rs 3310. Similarly, travel from Mumbai to Gandhinagar costs Rs 1385 for AC chair car and Rs 2505 for executive class. The cost of eating and drinking can also include the rent.

Vande Bharat train starts and features

India got the first Vande Bharat train on 15 February 2019. This train runs between Varanasi to Delhi. This semi-haipeed train covers a distance of 771 km in about 8 hours. There are only two stops like Prayagraj and Kanpur in its way, which makes its journey even faster. It cost about Rs 100 crore to build this train. The maximum speed of Vande Bharat Express is 180 kmph, while its average speed is around 96 km per hour.
