Many devotees take a dip in the water of Siddhamirtham pond. They believe that this water can wash away their sins and even cure skin diseases. Some people also eat jaggery dissolved in water according to local customs. Apart from this, some people perform Rudrabhishekam by offering ghee, milk and other ingredients on Shivalinga in the wish of health and safety.
