Vaishno Devi Yatra: Dense fog continued to disrupt train operations at Jammu railway station on Thursday, marking the second consecutive day of chaos for passengers.
Four trains were cancelled, while one departure was delayed. Several key express trains arriving from various routes were hours behind schedule, leaving travellers frustrated.

– Shri Shakti Express (22461): 2 hours late
– Jammu Rajdhani Express (12425): 1 hour 30 minutes late
– Hemkunt Express (14609): 3 hours late
– Uttar Sampark Kranti Express (12445): 1 hour late
– Shalimar Express (14661): 1.5 hours late
– Pooja Express (12413) and Begampura Express (12237): 3 hours late each
– Siyaldah Express (13151): 1 hour late
– Tatanagar Express (18309) and Sarvodaya Express (12477): 2 hours late each
– Malwa Express (12919), Navyug Express (16777) and other long-distance trains: up to 3 hours delayed
However, Jhelum Express (11077) arrived on time. Begampura Express (12238) departed Jammu nearly two hours late. Railway officials attributed the disruptions to low visibility caused by persistent fog across north India. Passengers have been advised to check train status before travelling.
