India’s young cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi is achieving new achievements with every passing day. At the age of just 14, Vaibhav has created a stir in the world of cricket and has got many records written in his name. Now he has also been honored by the Government of India for his brilliant success on the cricket pitch. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been awarded the country’s biggest children’s award, the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award. President Draupadi Murmu gave this award to this promising batsman from Bihar with his own hands in a special program.

On Friday 26th December, when the Bihar team was on the field for its second match in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, at the same time the team’s superstar batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi was present at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. The occasion was the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award. Like every year, this time also many youth and children from across the country were given this award for their achievements, in which some were honored for their bravery and some for their contribution in the field of sports or music or science.

Vaibhav, who comes from Samastipur, Bihar, was honored with this award for his excellent performance in the world of cricket. President Murmu gave this award to Vaibhav for achievements like becoming the youngest player in IPL and the Indian batsman who scored the fastest century. As soon as Vaibhav’s name was called for the award, thunderous applause echoed in the entire Vigyan Bhawan. Vaibhav also came during this time wearing an orange colored blazer and white kurta-pajama.

Vaibhav’s brother expressed pride

Vaibhav receiving this award was a moment of great pride not only for him but also for his family and his brother shared this moment with everyone without any hesitation. Vaibhav’s elder brother Ujjwal Suryavanshi posted a photo of Vaibhav receiving the award on his Instagram account and wrote, “It is a proud moment for us. Today Vaibhav was honored with the Children’s Award by the President of our country. Our President also praised Vaibhav.”
