Suryavanshi can do this (Photo: PTI)
Vaibhav Suryavanshi- Sameer Minhas: What Pakistan is proud of. Its fun can be gritty. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has that opportunity, by capitalizing which he can spoil the complexion of Pakistan. Now first of all let us know what is the reason for Pakistan’s pride? The reason for this is Pakistan’s Under-19 team batsman Sameer Minhas, who broke the world record made by Vaibhav Suryavanshi by scoring a century in 41 balls in the final of the Tri Series played on the evening of 6 January.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s world record broken
The world record for the fastest century in Under-19 ODI was in the name of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, which he made against England Under-19 team in July last year while facing 52 balls. Vaibhav Suryavanshi had then scored 143 runs facing 78 balls, which included 10 sixes. During this period he completed his hundred in just 52 balls.
Sameer Minhas broke the record by playing 11 balls less
But, now Pakistan’s Sameer Minhas has broken the world record of fastest century in Under-19 ODI by playing 11 balls less than Vaibhav Suryavanshi. However, Sameer Minhas has done this feat against Zimbabwe Under-19, which is a very weak team in front of England Under-19 team. Sameer Minhas remained unbeaten after scoring 114 runs in 51 balls while chasing the target of 159 runs in his innings played on 6 January 2026. During this, he scored a century in 41 balls.
Now Suryavanshi can spoil the colors of Pakistan
Pakistan may be proud of the success of Sameer Minhas, but it is possible that within just 24 hours of getting that happiness, its color may also get spoiled. Vaibhav Suryavanshi can spoil Pakistan’s fun against South Africa’s Under-19 team on January 7. Vaibhav had hit 10 sixes in just 24 balls in the last match against South Africa’s Under-19 team. If Vaibhav Suryavanshi thinks of doing a little more with that inning in the third and last ODI of the series, then there is no doubt that what can happen next against the South Africa Under 19 team?
