Vaibhav Sooryavanshi-IPS Mama: Like uncle, like nephew. You must have heard this. But, now reverse it and say like nephew, like uncle. Everyone has been watching his nephew’s amazing work on the cricket field for the last one and a half years. Now his maternal uncle Abhishek Chauhan has created a stir in the field of studies. He excelled in UPSC exam, where he became an IPS officer by securing 102nd rank. This is the reason why we are saying that Vaibhav Suryavanshi will now be called the nephew of the IPS officer.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s maternal uncle succeeded in his first attempt
Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s maternal uncle Abhishek Chauhan, Prof. resident of Rajajan village of Mohiuddinnagar block of Samastipur district. Dr. is the son of Abhay Kumar Singh and Anuradha Rajput. His father is the Registrar of Nalanda Open University. This was Abhishek Chauhan’s first attempt in the UPSC exam and he became IPS in his very first exam. There is an atmosphere of celebration in the entire Samastipur district due to the success of the uncle in UPSC after the nephew in cricket.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s father is very happy with Abhishek Chauhan becoming an IPS officer. He shared information about this on his social media. Vaibhav’s father Sanjeev Suryavanshi described the success of Abhishek Chauhan i.e. his brother-in-law as a moment of pride. He also told about his rank.
Result came on 6th March
The results of the Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC exam were announced on March 6, in which Abhishek Chauhan got 102nd rank. Abhishek Chauhan appeared in the UPSC exam for the first time in 2025. After passing the pre and mains examination, he was interviewed in 2026. Due to the success of Abhishek Chauhan, there is an atmosphere of happiness in his maternal home Dalsinghsarai also.
Talking about Vaibhav Suryavanshi, he is currently playing in the DY Patil T20 tournament. Very soon his magic will be seen in IPL 2026.
