Uttarakhand landslide: Cloud burst on Tuesday in Dharali village of Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Due to this, at least 4 people have died in a huge landslide. More than 50 people are missing. They are being searched. The road connectivity of the holy Gangotri Dham has been lost due to landslides. The affected area is located near the Winter Niwas of the Ganges in Mukhba and near Gangotri Dham.

Pushkar Singh Dhami said- very sad incident happened
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami described the incident as “very tragic” and said that he is in constant touch with senior officials. Dhami said in a post on X, “The news of heavy devastation caused by cloudburst in Dharali (Uttarkashi) is very sad. SDRF, NDRF, district administration and other related teams are working on a war footing. I pray for safety of all.”

Trouble in rescue operation due to rain
According to district officials, rescue operations are being interrupted due to closed roads and continuous rains. Every effort is being made to locate the missing people and help the affected people.
