Uttar Pradesh will become a textile hub, Yogi government is busy in completing PM Mitra Park on time. Pm Mitra Textile Park Lucknow Yogi Government Project

Under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath, the UP government is busy completing the PM Mitra Textile Park on the Lucknow-Hardoi border in a timely manner and with world-class facilities. Work is going on at a rapid pace on roads, electricity, water and infrastructure.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government is working rapidly towards making the state a major textile and apparel hub of the country. In this series, the construction work of the 1,000-acre PM Mitra Textile and Apparel Park being developed on the Lucknow-Hardoi border is progressing rapidly. Yogi government is continuously monitoring and coordinating to complete this ambitious project in a time bound manner and with world class facilities.

Focus on basic facilities in PM Mitra Textile Park

The state government is ensuring smooth arrangement of essential infrastructure facilities like roads, water and electricity in the park, so that investors do not face any inconvenience and the project can be completed on time.

Work to strengthen road connectivity in two phases

The work to strengthen the road connectivity of PM Mitra Park is being done in two phases.

first stage

It is proposed to widen and strengthen 8.40 km of road from IIM Lucknow to Raitha Underpass (Outer Ring Road). Of this, 6.2 km work has been completed. The total cost of this phase is Rs 409.39 crore, of which an amount of Rs 206.95 crore has already been allocated.

second phase

In the second phase, 14.28 km road construction is proposed from Raitha Underpass to PM Mitra Park. The process of land acquisition for this is currently in progress.

Construction work continues rapidly inside the park

Various construction works are also being completed at a fast pace within the PM Mitra Textile Park.

  • 73 percent work of boundary wall completed
  • 55 percent work of office space renovation completed
  • 20 percent work of gate complex completed

Along with this, LOI has been issued for the construction of 132 KV receiving sub-station and 26 km transmission line in the park.

Concrete arrangements regarding water management

Strong steps are also being taken by the Yogi government in the field of water management.

  • Tertiary Treatment Plant (TTP) is being constructed within PM Mitra Park from STP Daulatganj (8+8 MLD).
  • Arrangements are being made by Jal Nigam (Rural) to supply 8.25 MLD water from Gomati river.

A total sanctioned amount of Rs 458.50 crore has been made available for this.

Strict instructions to complete the work by January 2026

Yogi government has given clear instructions to the concerned officials that

The renovation work of boundary wall, gate complex and office building should be completed by 31 January 2026 at all costs.

This project will not only generate employment on a large scale in the state, but will also give Uttar Pradesh a strong identity on the global textile investment map.
