We met with some countries, but we don’t think we would be able to deal with them, then we have sent them only a letter that if we want to do business, these conditions have to be accepted,”. The statement came at a time when the US administration sent a letter to some countries and told that the US is going to impose new tax (tariff) on their products.
These countries will have a new tariff from August 1
Countries whom these letters have been sent include: Bangladesh, Bosnia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand and Tunisia. Trump said, “These countries were charging a lot of tax from America, some up to 200% which made it difficult for American companies to do business.” He claimed that “companies are coming to America by imposing tariffs and investment is increasing.”
