How much was the fee on the first H-1B visa?
The first H-1B visa fee was $ 2,000-5,000. Increasing fees have increased concerns about startups, small businesses and its impact on Indian IT professionals. Earlier, the Government of India expressed serious concern over an increase in H-1B visa fee. It was described as possible disruption for skilled Indian professionals and their families in the US.
