How to make urad dal laddus?
- Take urad dal, wash it with two waters and then spread it on a cloth in the fan’s air so that it dries thoroughly and all the moisture is removed.
- When the urad dal is completely dry, put it in a mixer grinder and grind it and prepare a fine flour-like powder.
- Now heat 3/4 cup ghee in a pan and add urad dal flour to it and fry well, until a light aroma starts coming out.
- Crush the gum into small pieces and add it to the flour mixture while roasting. Cook it while stirring continuously until it swells.
- At this stage, the flour will start giving off a nice roasted aroma and its color will also turn golden brown, but take care not to let the flour get too dark.
- Turn off the gas and let the mixture cool down a bit and then add all the ingredients including grated coconut, chopped almonds, cashews, pistachios, desi khand, coriander powder.
- Take little by little mixture from this prepared mixture and keep tying the laddus and if the laddus are not getting tied then heat some desi ghee and add it.
- You can decorate these laddus with silver work and can also be stored in an airtight container for at least 1 month. Eating just one laddu daily is enough.
