UPSC CSE 2025 e-Summon Letter: Interview i.e. Personality Test is considered to be the most important stage for every candidate preparing for UPSC Civil Services. Candidates appearing in the UPSC CSE Personality Test starting from 8th December 2025 and continuing till 19th December 2025 can download their e-summon letter through the official website. Whenever UPSC releases the interview date after Mains result, a document is also uploaded along with it, it is called e-summon letter. What is UPSC e-Summon Letter?
E-summon letter is in a way the interview call letter of UPSC for the candidates successful in UPSC CSE Mains exam. But it is not just an admit card, it contains a lot of important information, like-
- Candidate’s interview date and time.
- In front of which board will the interview take place?
- Information about which session (Forenoon or Afternoon) is available.
- Reporting Time (9 AM or 1 PM) Details.
- What documents need to be brought?
- UPSC instructions.
- This letter is necessary for both identification and entry of the candidate on the day of interview.
Why is e-summon letter necessary for UPSC interview candidate?
All 649 candidates appearing in UPSC interview must download this letter. It is needed because this letter is mandatory for entry in the interview. Without e-summon letter, entry into UPSC office is not possible. It is verified at the security gate. The entire interview details are written in this. - Click on CSE 2025 e-Summon Letter link on the homepage.
- A new page will open in which you will have to login.
- Once submitted, your e-summon letter will appear on the screen.
- Download it and take a print out.
