UP News: Uttar Pradesh Pro Volleyball League started from 7 August 2025 in Greater Noida. A total of 25 matches will be played in this league and its grand finale will be on 21 August. After the opening ceremony, there will be two big matches after cultural programs and team introduction.
Greater noida ani: A new chapter of sports in Uttar Pradesh, Pro Volleyball League (UPPVL) has started on August 7, 2025. Its grand opening ceremony will run from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex of Greater Noida. The founder of this league is Kulwant Balyan and is being organized under the leadership of Chairman Prabal Pratap Singh Tomar. The objective of UPPVL is to provide a strong platform to the youth of Uttar Pradesh to recognize national and international level.
Grand Finale on 21 August
The inauguration day began with a vibrant opening ceremony, with cultural presentations, team introductions and the presence of distinguished guests. The thrill continued with two high-voltage matches as soon as the league started. Which will be played with Noida Thunders vs Lucknow Tigers and Yodhya Super Kings vs Gorakhpur giants. These matches will present an exciting match on the court and will further prepare the stage of a strong competitive league. A total of 25 matches will be played during the league, which will conclude on 21 August 2025 at the Grand Finale, where the champion team will be crowned.
