Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show: Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS 2025) will witness a special attraction this time. The ODOP Pavilion, which is installed in Hall No. 9, will present the rich cultural heritage, crafts and workmanship of the state on the international stage. Here every district’s own identity and its story will be seen to be alive through its signature product. A total of 343 stalls will be set up in the exhibition, which will tell the story of the state as well as every district. In UPITS 2025, ODOP Pavilion will prove to be a platform where tradition and future will be seen moving together. This will not only give the art and craftsmanship of Uttar Pradesh a global identity, but will also give a new direction to the state’s economy.
Global’s dream will come true from local
The carpets of Bhadohi, who are famous all over the world for their fine weaving and design, will adorn the pavilion. Firozabad’s glass workmanship will attract audiences with its traditional shine and modern designs. The metalware of Moradabad is already popular in international markets and the carving of Saharanpur will show the unique art of Indian artisans. Through these products, not only the identity of districts will be revealed, but the dream of “local to global” will also get a new dimension.
You will get experience like global marketplace
The ODOP pavilion is designed in such a way that it will give an experience like a global marketplace. The confluence of tradition, innovation and excellence will be seen here under one roof. In the exhibition, visitors will not only get an opportunity to see the diversity of products, but will also have an opportunity to know how this product of every district is connected deeply to the culture, history and society there. Another important aspect of this pavilion is that it will provide a shared platform to startups, designers and international buyers. New opportunities for business deals, networking and future partnerships will open here. The Yogi government believes that this will provide a direct global platform to local industries and artisans, which will increase both their identity and income.
Special focus on sustainability and innovation
Sustainability and innovation have also been given special attention this time. There will be an attempt to explore new possibilities by combining traditional crafts with modernity. This will not only help the artisans to meet the modern market needs, but will also take a step towards sustainable production keeping in mind the environment.
