Monday became a witness to the new flight of industry, investment and indigenous flight, when the third edition of Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS 2025) concluded with a grand completion ceremony. On this occasion, Chief Guest Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said that today Uttar Pradesh is on a runway under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath which is unstopped. He described it as a mirror of not only the state but the economic and cultural capacity of the entire country.
Emphasis on inclusive development, call to adopt Swadeshi
Goyal called upon the people and entrepreneurs to make maximum use of indigenous goods and take a pledge for ‘developed India 2047’. He said that Swadeshi means Indian labor, Indian land and products made from hard work of our artisans. This is the real basis of employment generation.
The Union Minister said that after the arrival of the Yogi government, law and order improved, factories went back and returned the trust of investors. This is the reason that today UP has become the first choice of investors. He said that in 2017, a new dawn in the state and inclusive development started.

GST Savings Festival told the biggest improvement after independence
Piyush Goyal described the “GST Savings Festival” declared by Prime Minister Modi as historic. He said that tax cut on everyday goods is the biggest gift of Navratri for consumers. The changes on 22 September were described as the biggest tax reform of independence which will be remembered for the coming decades.
ODOP scheme becomes global identity, new platform will be available from Unity Mall
He said that UP’s One District One Product (ODOP) scheme has now reached 750 districts across the country and has given more than 1200 products a global identity. Soon the Unity Mall ODOP products to be developed in Lucknow, Agra and Varanasi will give new identity and provide a large platform to women entrepreneurs and youth.
Goyal said that UPITS is special because it took place on one platform for industrialists, exporters, women entrepreneurs, startups and government. This is the real identity of Perfect Mix, UP’s ever -increasing growth journey. He also honored the teams who contributed to the event by giving a trophy.
UP becomes first choice of investors, fast growing industrial structure
He said that earlier there used to be 400-500 new units in a year, whereas this year more than 3000 units are going to be installed in the state. Startups and export-oriented trade boost, law and order strength and strong infrastructure have made UP a stronghold of global brands.
Resolution to entrepreneurs – developed India 2047
At the end of the ceremony, the Union Minister called upon entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial youth to adopt indigenous, promote ODOP and reach the consumers to consumers. Referring to the ‘Make in India’ campaign started on 25 September 11 years ago, he said that now the goal is to create a developed India by 2047.
