If you are also thinking of buying a new electric car, then waiting a little may be beneficial for you. Here we are telling about some of those electric vehicles, which have been seen recently during testing on the roads. Let us know more about these upcoming electric vehicles.

Tata Sierra EV

Tata Sierra EV is expected to arrive in the Indian market between April and June. This all-electric variant of Sierra will fall in the segment between Curve EV and Harrier EV. According to reports, it will be offered in single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations. The company can provide 55 kWh and 65 kWh battery packs in it, whose range is expected to be around the Harrier EV. Features like vehicle-to-vehicle charging and Level 2 ADAS can also be found in this EV.

Mahindra BEO7

Earlier this month, the Mahindra BEO7 was spotted testing on Indian roads for the first time. This will be the second electric model of the BE series. This SUV is planned to be launched in 2027 and its length will be around 4.6 meters. It will be based on INGLO’s full-electric platform and will have 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery pack options. It is possible that the production-ready BEO7 model may be launched under a new name. It will compete with cars like Tata Harrier EV and Vinfast VF7.

2026 Tata Tiago EV facelift

Tata’s smallest and affordable electric car Tiago EV is going to get a new makeover. It will include modern features, better design and a larger battery. The 2026 Tata Tiago EV facelift has been spotted testing on Indian roads with camouflage. The company will introduce it in the Indian market this year.

Kia Ciros EV

Kia India is working on an electric version of the Ciros, which has been spotted testing on rural roads in India several times. It will be based on the Hyundai Venue-inspired K1 platform and will get a front-wheel drive setup. According to the Gaadiwadi report, this will be Kia’s cheapest electric vehicle in India and will be positioned below the Carens and Clavis EV.
