Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on 20 December 2025 ordered strong action against job fraud agents and also reviewed arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on 25 December for the inauguration of the Rashtra Prerna Sthal, linking law enforcement, public grievances, and preparations for the national-level programme in Gorakhpur.
Addressing people at the Janata Darshan in Gorakhpur, CM Yogi Adityanath heard complaints related to policing, land disputes, and welfare support, and directed officials to respond quickly, stressing that police and administration must not delay justice or show negligence while dealing with victims’ grievances and sensitive cases.

During the same visit, CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled programme on 25 December, when the Prime Minister is set to inaugurate the newly constructed Rashtra Prerna Sthal, planned to coincide with the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, which is observed nationwide on 25 December every year.
According to an official release, CM Yogi said that this landmark project, being dedicated to the nation by the Prime Minister on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, will emerge as a powerful symbol of national consciousness, cultural heritage, and pride.

The Chief Minister instructed officials to meet high standards in security, protocol, hospitality, traffic regulation, and crowd management for the Prime Minister’s presence, and clearly stated that negligence at any stage would not be tolerated, asking departments to work in close coordination so that the large gathering moves safely and comfortably throughout the programme area.
CM Yogi further instructed the police and district administration to implement multi-layered security arrangements along VVIP routes, the helipad, the main venue, and public congregation areas. He emphasised the installation of clear signage for traffic diversions, parking facilities, and pedestrian movement to ensure smooth public access. He also stressed seamless coordination and time-bound execution across media management, reception arrangements, cultural programmes, and all protocol-related components.

According to the release, the Rashtra Prerna Sthal is developed over 65 acres at an estimated cost of Rs 230 crore, which includes the 65-feet-tall bronze statues of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
CM Yogi Adityanath stated that the statues of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Atal Ji installed at Rashtra Prerna Sthal will inspire future generations to understand and imbibe the ideals of national unity, Integral Humanism, and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
It also includes a modern museum showcasing the lives, ideas, and contributions of national leaders, a rally ground and main stage with a capacity of nearly two lakh people, amphitheatre, meditation centre, vipassana-yoga centre, cafeteria, and civic amenities and well-planned layout with attractive landscaping, clear zoning, ample parking, and robust security arrangements, the release stated.

Reviewing the logistics for nearly two lakh expected attendees from different districts, CM Yogi Adityanath checked transport routes, parking plans, bus movement, control rooms, and medical units, and instructed that nodal officers be assigned to each bus cluster, entry gate, and parking zone, while final works like landscaping, gardens, museum finishing, amphitheatre and approach road beautification must be completed within the set timeline.
Alongside event planning, CM Yogi Adityanath issued strong directions against those cheating people with fake promises of overseas jobs, asking police to act firmly against such agents and warning that attempts to travel abroad through illegal channels often end in imprisonment, urging citizens to remain alert and not trust unauthorised intermediaries offering foreign employment.
“Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued clear and firm instructions to the police to take strict action against agents who cheat people on the pretext of sending them abroad.
He also directed that the entire amount duped from victims be recovered from such agents and that all those involved in these fraudulent activities be identified and proceeded against under the law,” reads an official statement. Mr. Adityanath, was addressing people’s grievances at the Janata Darshan organized in Gorakhpur.
The Chief Minister also focused on complaints about land grabbing, asking the administration and police to act quickly, fairly, and efficiently in such disputes, and directing strict legal steps wherever land encroachment is found, so that affected people receive timely relief and confidence in official processes is maintained across the state.
“Several people also sought financial assistance for medical treatment during the Janata Darshan. In response, CM Yogi directed officials to quickly complete hospital cost estimates and forward them to the government, assuring that adequate assistance would be provided from the Chief Minister’s discretionary fund,” added the official statement.
