With the return of cold winds in Uttar Pradesh, the temperature is going to drop by 2 to 3 degrees. There was dense fog in many districts, due to which visibility was extremely low. Cold and fog are likely to increase in the coming days.
The mild heat of the sun had definitely given some relief to people from the cold in the last few days, but the change in the weather of North India is as surprising as it is. This short period of relief is about to end. The cold and dry winds blowing from the mountains have once again moved towards the plains. With this, the temperature is going to start falling in Uttar Pradesh and winter will take a turn again.
Cold winds return, temperature will drop in 4 to 5 days
According to the Meteorological Department, north-westerly winds have become active again. Due to this, a continuous drop in temperature will be seen in the entire state. The mercury may go down by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the next 4 to 5 days. There will definitely be light sunshine during the day but the coolness of the air will be felt more than before.

The problem of fog will increase
As the cold increases, the layer of fog will also deepen. Light, moderate or dense fog may occur in many districts in the morning.
- The fog will clear up as the day progresses and the sun comes out
- But light haze in the atmosphere may persist throughout the day
- Low visibility can also affect traffic

Dense fog (50 to 100 meter visibility)
- Bareilly: Only 50 meter visibility
- Moradabad: about 100 meters
- Prayagraj: 100 meters
