UP International Trade Show 2025: In Lucknow, PM Modi appreciated CM Yogi Adityanath’s government. Counting connectivity, ODOP, Defense Corridor and Investment Opportunities. Told UP full of amazing possibilities.
At the inauguration ceremony of Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi fiercely praised the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the achievements of the state government. PM Modi described the event as a platform for new investment and opportunities for not only the state but for the whole of India. He said that Uttar Pradesh is today a ‘amazing possibilities full of possibilities’ and it is a win-world situation for investors.
The new direction of development told the progress of UP
The Prime Minister said that Uttar Pradesh is progressing rapidly under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The state has achieved remarkable achievements in connectivity, infrastructure, manufacturing, tourism and defense sector.

Revolution in connectivity, UP becomes at the forefront
PM Modi said that in the last few years, there has been a tremendous revolution of connectivity in Uttar Pradesh.
- UP is the highest expressway in the country.
- There are most international airports here.
- UP is also part of two big dedicated corridors.
He informed that Namami Gange Abhiyan has installed UP on the map of cruise tourism.
UP’s global identity increased due to ‘One District One Product’
The Prime Minister appreciated UP’s ambitious scheme One District One Product (ODOP) and said that the products of the districts have been recognized in the international market. He said that UP is now becoming a global center of manufacturing and its contribution to mobile manufacturing has reached 55%.
UP is playing an important role in self -reliant India
PM Modi said that UP semiconductor and self -sufficient India is becoming a strong pillar in the defense sector. Soon the production of AK-203 rifles will begin in the factory made in collaboration with Russia. The UP Defense Corridor is proving to be a big step in this direction.
The Prime Minister told entrepreneurs and investors that UP’s single window system is extremely effective. Investing here is like investing in India. He said that investing in UP will be beneficial not only for industries but also for the development of the country.
UPITS 2025 becomes a platform for global partnership
More than 2200 exhibitors and partners from 150 countries were present at the trade show. PM Modi said that with this event, UP has displayed its strength on the global platform and it is opening new opportunities for investors.
