CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed the progress of Mission Karmayogi. UP has become the leader in the country on iGot platform. Emphasis was laid on linking training to promotions, AI-cyber security courses and practical training for field personnel.
Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed in detail the progress made so far in Uttar Pradesh and the upcoming action plan under ‘Mission Karmayogi’ in a high-level meeting on Tuesday. In the meeting, there was an in-depth discussion on issues related to the implementation of the mission, training framework, status of digital platforms and capacity building in various departments.
On this occasion, Capacity Building Commission Chairperson S. Radha Chauhan gave a detailed presentation to the Chief Minister regarding the implementation of Mission Karmayogi in Uttar Pradesh.
Mission Karmayogi: Foundation of future administrative system
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Mission Karmayogi is a transformative initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Its objective is to create capable human resources associated with Indian culture and values with a global outlook, who can become the driving force for the development of the state and the country. He said that this mission is playing an important role in making the governance system sensitive, responsive and result oriented as per the future challenges.
Target to connect crores of personnel across the country
In the meeting, the Chief Minister was informed that under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, under Mission Karmayogi, a target has been set to connect more than 30 lakh civil servants in the Central Government, about 2.2 crore employees in the states, about 50 lakh employees in urban local bodies and Panchayati Raj institutions through capacity building. Along with this, more than 790 government training institutes across the country are being modernized and strengthened.
iGOT Platform: The world’s largest government training platform
iGOT (Integrated Government Online Training) digital platform has been established for continuous and online training of all civil servants. This platform has today become the world’s largest government-inspired capacity building platform.

- Total 4,179 training courses
- 840+ courses in hindi
- 540+ courses in 15 regional languages
- More than 6.7 crore courses completed

Uttar Pradesh becomes leading state in iGOT Karmayogi
Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the leading state of the country in effective implementation of iGOT Karmayogi. From the state-
- Over 18.8 lakh personnel onboarded on the platform
- To contribute 93% of the country’s total onboarding in the year 2025
- More than 10 lakh users completed at least one course
- Over 72 lakh course completions, which is 99% of total completions in the country in 2025
This achievement is a major step towards good governance, efficient administration and citizen-centric service system.
Instructions for uploading the course and completing the mandatory 7-day training
Chief Minister Yogi directed that all departments and government institutions should prepare the syllabus as per their requirement and upload it on the iGOT portal. He said that seven-day capacity building program should be made mandatory for all officers and employees and it should also be linked to promotion and ACR.
Special Capacity Building Courses for Training Centers
The Chief Minister said that capacity building courses should be prepared for all the training centers of the state including UPAM as per the need of the time, so that the efficiency of the employees can be increased at the training center level itself. He directed all departments to compulsorily include AI and cyber security in their training courses.
Instructions to upload case study of UP in Amrit Gyan Kosh
Chief Minister Yogi said that the best case studies from around the world are available in iGOT’s case study platform ‘Amrit Gyan Kosh’. There are also many good case studies in various departments of Uttar Pradesh, which should be uploaded on this platform. He said that real improvement in the quality of public service is possible only through coordination of knowledge, skills and positive thinking.
Emphasis on quality and practical utility of training
The Chief Minister directed the officials to pay special attention to the quality, regular evaluation and practical utility of the training programs running under Mission Karmayogi, so that its benefits reach every unit of the government. He also gave instructions to develop new design and new technology based training courses for engineers.
Priority for practical training for field personnel
Chief Minister Yogi said that under Mission Karmayogi, priority should be given to practical, work-based and need-based training for ANMs, Asha workers, police constables, field workers associated with Panchayati Raj institutions, urban bodies, so that the effectiveness and sensitivity of services at the grassroots level is strengthened.
