In the presence of Yogi Adityanath, an MoU was signed between the Uttar Pradesh government and Yamanashi province regarding green hydrogen technology. Under this agreement, students of higher technical institutions of Uttar Pradesh will be given advanced training in Japan.
The government says that this technology will later be implemented in the industry, public transport and energy sectors of the state. This initiative is also considered important towards the net zero target of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Chief Minister said that the delegation participated in several G2G and G2B level meetings in Tokyo. Detailed discussions were held with Japanese industry groups with the support of the Indian Embassy. He also thanked the Yamanashi administration for taking the investment dialogue forward.
