The written examination of Uttar Pradesh Police SI Recruitment 2025 will be held on March 14 and 15 at 1090 examination centers in 75 districts. More than 15.75 lakh candidates have applied for 4543 posts. CCTV surveillance and tight security arrangements by STF have been made to prevent cheating in the examination.

Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will conduct the written examination for recruitment to the posts of Sub Inspector (SI), Civil Police and equivalent posts on March 14 and March 15. This examination will be conducted at 1090 examination centers set up in 75 districts of the state. The examination will be conducted in two shifts on both the days. The first shift will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and the second shift will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

UP Police SI Recruitment 2025: More than 15.75 lakh applications for 4543 posts

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board had invited applications for 4543 posts under Direct Recruitment-2025. A total of 15,75,760 candidates have applied in this recruitment process. These include 11,66,386 male candidates and 4,09,374 female candidates. In view of the large number of applications from candidates, preparations for the examination have been made on a large scale.

Selection of examination centres: Only government schools and colleges are included.

Quality examination centers have been selected for the written examination. Under this, only government secondary schools, government degree colleges, state and central government schools/universities, polytechnic institutes and government engineering colleges have been made examination centres. Keeping in mind the convenience of women candidates, they have been allotted examination centers in the district falling under their own division.

Strict monitoring to stop copying, monitoring will be done through CCTV

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has made special arrangements to make the examination fair, transparent and cheating-free. Several security measures have been implemented to prevent impersonation. All examination centers will be monitored through CCTV cameras. For this, a three-level control and command center has been created, in which there will be monitoring arrangements at the examination centre, district and board level.

STF will also keep an eye, strict action will be taken against irregularities

To make the examination completely fair and cheating-free, strict monitoring will be maintained by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board and STF. If any person is found using unfair means in the examination or involved in any kind of illegal activity, strict legal action will be taken against him.

Important instructions for candidates: Reach the examination center on time

The Board has advised all the candidates to beware of unfair means, impersonation, touts and gangs involved in cheating in the name of jobs. Candidates must reach the examination center at least 2 hours before the commencement of the examination to avoid inconvenience. It is mandatory for them to bring with them Admit Card, Aadhar Card or other valid identity card (Driving License/Passport) and black or blue ball point pen.

The entrance will be closed 30 minutes before the start of the exam.

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board has clarified that the entrance of the examination center will be closed 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. After this no candidate will be given admission. Candidates who have not entered the Aadhaar number at the time of application or mismatch is found in the Aadhaar number, will have to reach the examination center two and a half hours (2.30 hours) before the commencement of the examination and get it verified. It will be mandatory for the candidates to bring their updated and unlocked Aadhaar card with them in the examination.

Bringing these items to the examination center is completely prohibited

Bringing many types of items to the examination center is completely prohibited. These include text material (printed or written), geometry box, plastic pouch, calculator, credit/debit card, scale, copy, pen drive, eraser, log table, electronic pen, scanner and digital pen.

Apart from this, it is strictly prohibited to carry mobile phone, keys, any kind of watch, jewellery, smart watch, Bluetooth device, earphone, pager, health band, purse or wallet, goggles, handbag, cap, food items, cigarette, lighter, matchbox and gutkha to the examination centre. If any candidate is found with these items during the examination, legal action will be taken against him.
