Ayodhya News: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman reached Ayodhya on Wednesday. Where she participated in the historical function organized on Wednesday at Brihaspati Kund. He said – Ram sits not only in North India but in every house in the South.
Uttar Pradesh News: In a historic ceremony held on Wednesday at the sacred Brihaspati Kund in Ayodhya, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled the grand statues of three great musical saints of South India, Sri Tyagaraja Swamigal, Sri Purandara Das and Sri Arunachal Kavi. Nirmala Sitharaman’s address on this occasion was filled with emotions and devotion. He said that in South India, devotion to Shri Ram is not just a faith but an integral part of life.
Earlier there was no linguistic discrimination in South India
Nirmala Sitharaman said in her address that the detail in which Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told about the saints of South India is amazing. He said that earlier there was no linguistic discrimination in South India, Carnatic music was sung in all languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Sanskrit, which is a symbol of unity.
Shri Ram’s energy flows in every song of Tyagraj ji.
The Finance Minister said that Tyagaraja Swami, despite living in poverty throughout his life, gave the highest place to devotion to Shri Ram. He refused to sing songs in the credit of the king and sang songs only for Shri Ram. His devotion was such that the energy of Shri Ram flowed in every song. People say that perhaps Hanuman ji was born as Tyagaraja. He told that Tyagaraja Swami’s song ‘Sita Kalyan’ is sung in every marriage ceremony in South India. He said that the same songs were sung at his daughter’s wedding also.

In Kerala, Valmiki Ramayana is recited throughout the month of Ashadh.
Nirmala Sitharaman said, “Ram Bhakti is not limited to Hindi speaking areas only. Even today in Kerala, during the entire month of Leo (Ashadha), Lord Shri Ram is worshiped by lighting a lamp in the evening in every house. Valmiki Ramayana is read throughout the month. This is not a concrete but a tradition of abstract devotion. This is the true soul of our country. Citing the example of the Tamil poet Arunachal, she said that he Expressed deep respect for Mother Sita in poetic Ramnatakam. He had said, look at Mother Sita with a million eyes, there is no one more beautiful than her.
Glory of Shri Ram in every language Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam
Nirmala Sitharaman told that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also visited the temples associated with Shri Ram in South India before the inauguration of Ram Janmabhoomi. He visited the Srirangam temple, where Kambaramayanam was composed. Not only this, Arunachal Kavi was also ordered by Shri Ram in his dream to present Ramnatakam in Srirangam. The Finance Minister said that in South India, not only the male saints but also a woman from the potter community set an example of devotion by writing Mollaramayanam in Telugu. ‘The glory of Shri Ram has been sung in every language like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam. This is the soul of India.

Amazing example of devotion and unity
We did not even feel that we were in North India, it felt as if we were having a function at our home. At the end of her address, Nirmala Sitharaman said that today is a very sacred day. The statues of those saints who had ‘Ram’ in their every breath, getting a place in Ayodhya has been made possible not only by Yoga but by the will of Shri Ram. This is a wonderful example of devotional unity between North and South India. He expressed his gratitude towards the Uttar Pradesh government and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said that we did not feel that we were in North India, it felt as if we were having a function in our home.
