Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will distribute smartphones and growth monitoring devices to Anganwadi workers at Lok Bhavan. We will also promote employment by giving appointment letters and will start the construction and inauguration of new Anganwadi centres.
Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate many important schemes of the Child Development and Nutrition Department in the Lok Bhavan auditorium on Monday. The objective of this program is to give new impetus to women empowerment, child development and employment generation. During the program, appointment letters will also be distributed under Mission Rojgar.
Anganwadi workers will get growth monitoring devices (Anganwadi Growth Monitoring Devices)
In the programme, growth monitoring devices will be given to Anganwadi workers and assistants by the Chief Minister. These include stadiometer, infantometer and mother-child weighing scale. A total of 1,33,282 stadiometers, 10,553 infantometers and 58,237 weighing scales will be distributed in the state, which will make monitoring of health and nutrition of children more accurate and effective.
Employment will increase through distribution of appointment letters (Mission Rozgar UP)
The Chief Minister will give appointment letters to 10 newly selected Anganwadi workers and assistants. Apart from this, appointment letters will also be distributed to 739 Anganwadi workers in 46 districts and 15,203 assistants in 42 districts. This will increase employment opportunities in the state.
Smartphone distribution will increase digital monitoring (Digital Anganwadi UP)
Smartphones will be given to 10 Anganwadi workers and chief maids in the program. With this, the process of distribution of smartphones to 69,794 workers and chief servants across the state will begin. This will help in digital data collection and better implementation of schemes.
New design and construction work of Anganwadi buildings (Infrastructure Development UP)
The Chief Minister will also release new designs of Anganwadi centres, which cost approximately Rs 30.32 lakh per building. Along with this, the foundation stone of these works will be laid, on which a total of Rs 1,37,04.29 lakh will be spent.

- 69 other centers in 27 districts
Infrastructure will be strengthened by inauguration (UP Anganwadi Projects Launch)
Apart from this, 2,468 Anganwadi centers in 70 districts and 69 Child Development Project offices in 29 districts will be inaugurated. The total cost of these projects is Rs 3,13,26.31 lakh. This will strengthen the infrastructure in the state and create new employment opportunities at the local level.
Women empowerment and child development will get strength (Women Empowerment UP)
This entire program will prove to be an important step towards women empowerment, nutrition of children and overall development of the state.
