Success achieved through Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show

CM Yogi was addressing the inauguration ceremony of UP Trade Show Swadeshi Mela organized at Champa Devi Park in Gorakhpur on Friday. The Chief Minister said that Swadeshi Mela is being organized in every district of the state. Before this, Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show was organized in Greater Noida from 25 to 29 September to give a platform to the products made in the state. More than 2250 entrepreneurs showcased their products in the International Trade Show. More than 500 foreign buyers came here and products worth Rs 11200 crore were sold in this trade show. This is the picture of the new Uttar Pradesh which has recovered from the sick state and presents it as an enterprise state.

Employment will be available through employment fair

The Chief Minister said that when enterprises are set up, employment will be available. If enterprises are set up, connectivity will also be better and not only the industries but also the common citizens will get the benefit of that connectivity facility. If enterprises are set up, new technology will come and new employment opportunities will also be created. CM Yogi said that due to the progress made by Uttar Pradesh under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it has come out of the image of Bimaru and has become the growth engine of the country’s economy.

The dream was to set up an enterprise in UP before 2017.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that before the year 2017, setting up an enterprise in Uttar Pradesh was a dream. There was such anarchy at that time that people were trying to flee from UP. After 2017, a tremendous environment of security was created in the double engine government. Zero tolerance policy was adopted. Rules related to industries were simplified. This off doing business was made better. In MSMEs, exemption was given to take NOC for one thousand days. This created a tremendous environment for entrepreneurship. The MSME units which were being closed in the state started getting Sanjeevani. Today 96 lakh units are operational in the MSME sector and through this, two crore people have been provided jobs and employment. CM Yogi said that after agriculture, maximum employment generation is in MSME. This is a sector that provides employment even in times of crisis. He told that during the Corona epidemic, when 40 lakh workers from other states of the country came to Uttar Pradesh, they got support only from the MSME sector.

Uttar Pradesh is becoming a model of self-reliance in every field

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh is becoming a model of self-reliance in every field. Uttar Pradesh has made rapid progress in the field of law and order as well as infrastructure. Great leaps of progress have been made in highways, railways, airways and inland waterways. He said that before 2017, only two airports were functional in Uttar Pradesh whereas today 16 airports are functional. The country’s largest international airport is being built in Jewar, Noida. He said that metro train services are available in six cities of the state. Electric buses are being operated in all the big cities of the state. An electric bus manufacturing enterprise is also going to be inaugurated in the state this month. Now electric buses will also be made in Uttar Pradesh. This will not only protect the environment but will also increase employment. The Chief Minister said that the country’s first inland waterway is in Uttar Pradesh from Varanasi to Haldia. Uttar Pradesh has the largest rail network in the country. Uttar Pradesh is the first state to run rapid rail in the country. Uttar Pradesh has the strongest interstate connectivity in terms of roads. In UP, a network of roads has been laid from village to village.

Incentives to entrepreneurs and loans distributed to young entrepreneurs

From the platform of Swadeshi Mela, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed incentives worth crores of rupees to entrepreneurs under the textile policy of the state government and loan funds to young entrepreneurs under the CM Yuva Udyami Yojana. Under the textile policy, he provided incentives of Rs 34 crore 10 lakh to Gaurav Bathwal, Rs 13 crore 46 lakh to Pramod Matanheliya, Rs 2 crore 8 lakh to Umesh Singh and Rs 1 crore 49 lakh to Rajesh Jaiswal. Under this, the beneficiaries of CM Yuva Udyami Yojana, Sunita Tiwari, Kundan Prajapati, Vaibhav Singh Srinet, Karmaveer Singh and Shivam Sharma, received a check from the Chief Minister for the loan amount for setting up an enterprise. On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed certificates of Geographical Indication (GI Tag) of terracotta to Pannelal Prajapati, Rakesh, Pradeep, Jeevlal Prajapati and Mohanlal Prajapati.
