Ayodhya Deepotsav Festival 2025: The city of Shri Ram is ready to shine once again on the auspicious occasion of Ayodhya Deepotsav-2025. Administrative preparations have been completed in Ayodhya regarding Deepotsav-2025. Everything is happening under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Ayodhya Deepotsav 2025: The city of Lord Shri Ram is ready to shine once again on the auspicious occasion of Ayodhya Deepotsav-2025. This world famous event, being held under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is not only a symbol of grandeur but has also become a celebration of cultural and spiritual pride. The administration has completed extensive security and systemic preparations to conduct the programs of the proposed provincialized Deepotsav Mela-2025 from October 17 to October 20 this year in a peaceful and smooth manner.
Responsibility of Ayodhya given to DM Nikhil Tikaram Funde
District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Funde, who has been appointed as magistrate at all sites, has deployed magistrate duty with a view to ensure safe completion of the programs organized during Deepotsav Mela-2025, maintaining law and order and arrival of VVIPs. These officers will make the entire event successful by coordinating with the police and officers of other departments on duty in their respective areas.

Responsibilities fixed for every venue from lighting of lamp to procession
Additional District Magistrate City/Fair Officer and Joint Chief Executive Officer of Teerth Vikas Parishad Prem Narayan Singh has been made in-charge for the works related to lighting of lamps. Chief Revenue Officer Gajendra Kumar has been appointed Magistrate in-charge for the smooth conduct of the procession (Saket College to Ramkatha Park). The responsibility of the entire arrangement of Ramkatha Park and Pushpavarsha Manch near the helipad has been handed over to Chief Revenue Officer Baburam.
Security arrangements for the programs of Chief Minister and Governor strengthened
Deputy Collector Santosh Kumar Kushwaha has been appointed Magistrate-in-charge to accompany Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in his program. Similarly, Deputy District Magistrate Bikapur Ms. Shreya has been given the responsibility for the fleet and programs of Madam Governor. Complete arrangements for food and hospitality for VVIP guests at Saryu Guest House will be ensured under the leadership of Deputy District Magistrate Sadar Ram Prasad Tripathi.

Special control on Ram Ki Paidi, Ramkatha Park and Ghats
The entire arrangement of Ramkatha Park has been handed over to Chief Development Officer Krishna Kumar Singh, with whom a team of 12 officers has been appointed. The arrangements for the grand Deepotsav program to be held at Ram Ki Paidi will be under the control of ADM Finance and Revenue Mahendra Kumar Singh. The responsibility of the entire arrangements at the Naya Ghat Saryu Aarti site has been given to ADM Administration Anirudh Pratap Singh.
Special focus on media, traffic and security
Separate officers have also been appointed for media team boat operation, arrangement of unpaved and pucca ghats, airport, traffic control and protocol works. ADM LO Indrakant Dwivedi has been made in-charge of the entire traffic system. The responsibility of media team boat and ghat management has been given to AM Barabanki Viveksheel Yadav and District Information Officer Santosh Kumar Dwivedi.
Special duty also at main places Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Hanumangarhi, Karsevakpuram.
On the main Deepotsav day to be held on October 20, ADM (Law and Order) Indrakant Dwivedi will be deployed in the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex. Duty of Deputy Collector rank officers has also been imposed at major places like Hanumangarhi, Maniram Das Cantonment, Bada Bhakta Mall, Digambar Akhara, Karsevakpuram etc. so that security and discipline is maintained during the programs.
Fair control room and 47 reserve magistrates also deployed
The Central Fair Control Room at Irrigation Guest House Naya Ghat will be active 24 hours from October 16 to October 20. Apart from this, 47 reserve magistrates will also be ready to deal with any emergency. A special team has been formed by the Food Safety Department to check the quality of food.
Safety of electricity, fire fighting, barricading and stages will be certified.
Before the festival of lights, all the venues will undergo checking of electrical safety, barricading, stage-pandal, fire fighting and food quality. The concerned departments have been directed to provide the certificates to the magistrate and police officers in time.
Deepotsav 2025 will be a confluence of devotion and light
Ayodhya’s Deepotsav is not just a festival, but a celebration of the “ideals of Ramrajya”. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, this event has become an identity of Indian culture globally. When countless lights of lamps will be lit together on the banks of Saryu, that scene will drench not only Ayodhya but the entire world in the light of devotion to Ram.
