Yogi Adityanath Monsoon Session Speech: In the monsoon session 2025 of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, CM Yogi announced 24 hours on the ‘developed UP’ vision on 13-14 August. There will be a detailed debate on flood, health, education and development agenda, public opinion will also be included.
Up monsoon session 2025: Have you ever thought that in a single session, the roadmap of 25 years of coming from a state can be fixed? The monsoon session of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly is going to do the same. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday made it clear in a conversation with reporters that this session is not only to follow the tradition, but to make a concrete plan of the future.
Why is this session so special?
Chief Minister Yogi said that this session is being held in the third year of the nectar of freedom and is an important opportunity to shape the vision of ‘developed Uttar Pradesh’. This vision has been prepared with the help of NITI Aayog and experts from various fields, which will include the opinion of every section of the society.

13 and 14 August: 24-hour continuous discussion (24-hour discussion in up assemble)
Yogi Adityanath said that on August 13 and 14, the Vision of ‘Developed UP’ will be discussed in the Legislative Council for 24 and 14 consecutive hours. The special thing is that it will not be limited to the legislators only – the opinion of the people will also be a part of the vision document. Their goal is that by 2047, when India became a developed nation, Uttar Pradesh should also be included in the list of fully developed states.
What issues will be the most talked about?
The CM said that this time the monsoon session will be focused on seasonal issues like floods and waterlogging as well as health, education, infrastructure, poor welfare and upliftment of every class. Apart from this, during the Question Hour, the public representatives will raise the questions of the public and important topics will be discussed openly during the zero hour.
The Chief Minister accused the opposition, especially the Samajwadi Party, of adopting an anti -development attitude. He said that when long action was taken in the past, the SP protested and used unparliamentary words. This time he appealed to all parties to join positive and creative debate, so that the time could be used correctly. Yogi Adityanath said that the Uttar Pradesh Legislature is the largest in the country and the discussions here become examples for the rest of the states. He expressed confidence that the discussion to be held in this session will give direction to the aspirations of 25 crore people.
