Uttar Pradesh is becoming a medical device manufacturing hub under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath. More than 100 plots have been allotted in the park developed on 350 acres in Sector-28 of YEIDA and construction has started in many units.

Lucknow. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh is rapidly emerging as a medical device manufacturing hub. The Medical Device Park being developed on 350 acres in Sector-28 of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has now become not just a plan but a ground reality. This park is showing solid progress at all three levels – investment, plot allocation and construction. So far, more than 100 plots have been allotted and construction work has started on more than 12 units. There is every possibility of starting production here in the coming time.

YEIDA Medical Device Park: Example of Yogi Government’s industrial vision

This medical device park, being developed in the Yamuna Expressway area, is a symbol of the vision of the Yogi government, under which Uttar Pradesh is being made the country’s favorite investment state on the basis of policy, strong infrastructure and investor confidence. This project can make Uttar Pradesh the new powerhouse of medical device manufacturing in the coming years.

Allocation of 101 out of 203 industrial plots completed

Under the Medical Device Park, 188.15 acres of land has been reserved for industrial units. A total of 203 industrial plots of different sizes have been developed here. So far, 101 plots have been successfully allotted, which shows that investor confidence in the medical device sector in the YEIDA area is continuously strengthening.

Investment in medical device sector hits ground

According to YEIDA progress report

  • 85 investors have submitted lease plans
  • 62 lease deeds have been executed
  • 49 units have taken possession of the site
  • 23 building maps have been approved
  • Construction work has started in 12 units

This progress reflects the success of Yogi government’s single window system, timely approvals and policy stability.

Overall industrial ecosystem with green areas, warehouse and commercial zones

YEIDA is developing this Medical Device Park as not just an industrial cluster but a full-fledged industrial ecosystem. According to this-

  • Warehouse plot in 9.02 acres
  • Green area in 18.66 acres
  • Common facility area in 46.43 acres
  • Commercial sector in 4.84 acres
  • Road and parking infrastructure in 79.10 acres

It has been developed to maintain a balance between production, logistics, environment and workforce facilities.

Opportunity opens again for new plot allotment

Out of the remaining land in the Medical Device Park, the process of fresh allotment of 10.32 acres of land has been initiated. This scheme has been implemented from January 12, 2026. A total of 22 new plots are proposed for allotment in this phase-

  • 11 plots of 1000 square meters each
  • 9 plots of 2100 sq.m.
  • 2 plots of 5940 sq.m.

The last date for application has been fixed as 11 February 2026.

UP can get international recognition in medical device sector

According to industry experts, YEIDA’s strategic location, expressway connectivity and airport ecosystem along with the industry-friendly policies of the Yogi government can give Uttar Pradesh not only national but also international recognition in the medical device sector. This project will strengthen the goals of Make in India and self-reliant India as well as reduce dependence on imports.
