She somehow managed to support her family by working as a laborer with her husband. There was no steady source of income in life and every day was full of struggle. But today the same Anita is known as “Lakhpati Didi”, who is earning lakhs of rupees annually on her own. 4400 women associated with her group have also become self-reliant. With the help of Yogi government, Anita wrote her story. The change that the government-run National Rural Livelihood Mission brought in the life of Anita Devi, which changed the entire direction. Today she is the president of her group. 4400 women are associated with his group who have become self-reliant. After joining Shakti Self Help Group, Anita not only got financial assistance, but also got confidence, training and opportunity to move forward.
Government gave Rs 1 lakh due to which she became a millionaire
With the support of Yogi Government, she got Rs 1,10,000 from Community Investment Fund in the year 2021, which gave a strong foundation to her business. After this, he received Rs 15,000 as revolving fund through the group in the year 2023. Whereas 3,00,000 CCL was received in the year 2024 and 4,00,000 CCL in 2025. Today, with the support of the group, Anita Devi has proved that if given the right guidance and opportunity, any woman can change her life.
She did a lot of work during the Corona period, got success from that
Today Anita has formed 27 groups in Salempur. He started tailoring business from his home. Gradually she turned it into a business and started making and selling clothes. During the Corona period, his group together made masks and many related products. His hard work paid off and today his income has increased significantly. In December 2023, she opened a grocery shop by the name of ‘Shakti Traders’ which is run jointly by her husband and son. Due to this his sources of income increased. At present his monthly income ranges from Rs 40,000 to Rs 45,000. This success is not only the result of her hard work, but it is also an example of how the Yogi government’s schemes are empowering women at the grassroots level.
From self-reliance to respect
Anita has become an inspiration for the group and the village. Today Anita has not only become the support of her family, but is also a source of inspiration for the entire village. Apart from this, when she gets time, she also sells cosmetic products from her home. He has shown through hard work that true respect comes only through self-reliance.
