Research of Jhansi Medical College revealed

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) has become a new health challenge for the people of Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh. This disease gradually causes damage to the body from inside without clear symptoms and by the time it is identified, it has reached a serious level. Research conducted by the local medical college has revealed that cases of this disease are increasing rapidly in the area.

In both rural and urban areas of Bundelkhand, there has been a rapid change in the lifestyle of the people, in which inactivity and nutritious food have been replaced by oily and junk food.

What did the doctor say?

Dr. Kuldeep Chandel, Chairman of Medicine Department of Medical College, said that in the event of NAFLD, fat starts accumulating in the liver, due to which the level of enzymes called SGOT and SGPT in the body increases rapidly. These enzymes are an indication that liver or heart cells are being affected in the person’s body. In such a situation, the person surrounds the person’s problems like digestive problems, diabetes, hypertension and cholesterol.

Dr. Chandel said that the initial signs of this disease are so light that patients often ignore them. But when the disease increases, problems like physical exhaustion, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite begin to arise. If these symptoms are not taken seriously by the person in time, then the person may also face a deadly situation like liver cirrhosis.

Fatty liver among 80 percent people in research

In one year long research conducted by a medical college in Jhansi, Bundelkhand, 302 patients were examined, while the results revealed the shocking truth, 80 percent of fat people found fatty liver. At the same time, 46 percent diabetic patients, 66 percent high cholesterol with high cholesterol, and 40 percent thyroid and blood pressure patients were found to be suffering from this disease.

Especially stomach problems or people suffering from any serious disease need to be the most vigilant. On confirmation of fatty liver, it becomes very important for people to take medical treatment according to medical consultation, and changes in routine.

For this, as soon as the day starts, it should be done with yoga, pranayama and light workout. More and more green vegetables, fiber -rich grains, and low -fat substances should be consumed in food.
