In Uttar Pradesh, on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, work is being done rapidly towards making cow shelters modern and self-reliant. Now preparations are being made to equip selected cow shelters of the state with German technology, so that their operations can be more effective and organized.

Agreement signed between UP Gau Seva Aayog and GIZ

Taking an important step in this direction, an important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Uttar Pradesh Go Seva Commission and Germany’s reputed organization GIZ GmbH. The Chairman of the Commission and the German delegation formalized this partnership at an event held in Lucknow.

Technical training will increase the capacity of cow sheds.

Under this agreement, technical training will be given to selected cow shelters of the state. The main objective of training is to improve management, proper utilization of resources and adoption of modern technologies. According to Cow Seva Commission Chairman Shyam Bihari Gupta, this will make the functioning of cow shelters more systematic and effective.

Focus on Skill Development and Knowledge Sharing

This agreement is completely based on technical cooperation. This does not involve any kind of financial assistance, rather the focus will be on exchange of knowledge and skills. With this, cowshed operators and employees will get information about new technologies.

Self-reliant cowsheds and strong rural economy

The main objective of this initiative is to make cow shelters economically self-reliant. When the cowsheds themselves become efficient, it will also strengthen the rural economy. The government wants that cowsheds should not remain just shelters, but should be developed as a productive unit.

Promote scientific use of cow based products

Scientific and commercial use of cow dung, cow urine and other cow based products will be promoted through training. This will not only create new sources of income, but will also strengthen environmental protection and sustainable development.

Efficiency will increase, employment opportunities will also be available

Use of new technologies will increase the efficiency of cow shelters and people associated with it may also get new employment opportunities. This initiative can bring a big change in the field of animal husbandry and rural development in the state.
